The Horsham DKW Karate Club (located at the Kingslea Primary School, Horsham, Sussex) is one of the most well-established and highly reputed Karate Clubs in Horsham and surrounding area. The full name of the Horsham DKW Karate Club is the Horsham Dokuja Karate-do Wadokai.
The Senior Instructor of the club is Gordon Hoare who has been teaching Karate since 1991 and holds a 7th Dan black-belt in British Wadokai Wadoryu Karate. He has also been honoured with the title of Renshi; which was awarded to him in 2007 for Dedication & Loyalty to Wadoryu Karate and British Wadokai. The Horsham DKW Karate Club is affiliated to British Wadokai, which is also a member of the British Wado Federation (BWF), European Wado Federation (EWF) and International Wado Federation (IWF). The Horsham DKW Karate Club teaches 'authentic' British Wadokai Karate Atemi Ju-Jutsu. |
About Our Club

We are a very family-friendly traditional Wado-Ryu karate club providing training in fitness, self-defence, and self-improvement.
All are welcome: Men & Women and Boys & Girls (minimum age 8), Beginners, Intermediate as well as Advanced. Parents are also very welcome to train alongside their children. The benefits of Karate training include (although not limited to): Self-Discipline, Coordination, Concentration, Focus of Mind & Body, Respect (for self as well as for others), Improved Health & Fitness, Self-Defence, Confidence. Our tuition costs are very affordable - you only pay for the sessions you attend - and if you are not sure whether Karate is for you then why not come along for a couple of classes to try?
