About our Horsham Karate Club.
We are a very family-friendly traditional Wado-Ryu karate club providing training in fitness, self-defence, and self-improvement. All are welcome: Men & Women and Boys & Girls (minimum age 8), Beginners, Intermediate as well as Advanced.
Parents are also very welcome to train alongside their children.
The benefits of Karate training include (although not limited to): Self-Discipline, Coordination, Concentration, Focus of Mind & Body, Respect (for self as well as for others), Improved Health & Fitness, Self-Defence, Confidence.
Tuition costs are very affordable, and if you are not sure whether Karate is for you then why not come along for a couple of classes to try?
So, if you're looking for a friendly 'non-commercial', but professionally run, traditional karate club in Horsham, why not try us first at the Kingslea Wado Horsham Karate Club?
Horsham Wadoryu's Affiliations.
The Horsham Wadoryu Karate Club is a member of British Wadokai, which has foundations that were established in1976, and is in turn affiliated to the British Wado Federation (a.k.a. Eikoku Wado Renmei) and the International Wado Federation (see links page).
The British Wado Federation is the only official Wado Governing Body in the UK that is affiliated to the International Wado Federation. As a member of the Horsham Wadoryu Karate Club you are also automatically affiliated as a member to British Wadokai, the British Wado Federation and the International Wado Federation. This provides the opportunity to attend specialist training courses held by highly respected instructors and enter Wado Karate competitions if you wish to compete. British Wadokai also organises 'entry-level' Wadoryu karate competitions for all members.
For the most able and committed there is the chance to join the British Wadokai Kata and Kumite Squads and represent British Wadokai. Ultimately, for the very best, we provide a training path where you could represent England throughout the world.
The British Wado Federation IS NOT an 'All-Styles' or 'Sport-Orientated' Karate Governing Body, so we are able to accept members from all World Governing Bodies.
